Female caregiver needed for petite young lady with cerebral palsy in West Seattle. Assistance needed for all activities of daily living, 2 – 5 days per week; days/hours negotiable. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, diligent, takes pride in doing a good job, and is eager to learn. Applicants must be fully vaccinated and able to pass a national background check. Lots of training provided. $19/hour minimum.

Dear Patience, background checks are good but there is so much more you could find for someone wanting to work for you. “Good criminals” and those who prey on the elderly or people in need may not have a record at all.They just haven’t got caught yet. Get current and consecutive work history. Get references other than friends and relatives. Get someone like their landlord to give a reference. Let me know if you’d like some more tips, in case you’re still looking for someone. I have 35 years experience in the Home Care industry.
