BonnieParticipantJust got back from the elementary school and there are cops cruising around the streets and the school has their doors locked. Anyone know what’s going on? The school just told me there were 2 guys in the neighborhood.

MillertimeMemberYes, I had just pulled up in front of my house when I heard banging coming from down the street. I looked over, and saw two black males late teens/early twenties trying to kick in a front door at 37th and 102nd. I immediately got their attention with some colorful language, then they ran south on 37th avenue towards Arbor Heights Elementary. I got back in my truck, drove to 37th and 104th and spotted the two punks before they dissappeared behind cars and into someone’s yard. I called the police during pursuit, I am hopeful these guys get caught.

anonymeParticipantThanks so much for the heads up. If not for WSB and Millertime, those of us not home at the time might never have known about this. I plan to pass this on to all of my immediate neighbors.

WSBKeymasterPLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can I beg you to call us or e-mail us if you see police activity? I have no way of monitoring the forum at all times. I have had a story on this up for an hour (including Millertime’s account, which came in via e-mail just after I finally got a reply from police to an inquiry I had out after hearing scanner snippets) but we RELY on tips from those sources. Could have had info a lot sooner. 206-293-6302 is our call-able, text-able hotline, round the clock (yes, it rings at 2 or 3 or 4 am sometimes, and we answer it cheerily, since this is our business).

BonnieParticipantSo sorry. I didn’t have your number programmed into my phone and I am lame and don’t have internet on my phone. It is programmed in there now!
