    Anybody have info on where two of the four green/yellow cranes on the north side of the 1st Ave S bridge went? I noticed the cranes missing a few months ago. I haven’t been able to track it down.

    Ha! I go out of town for the weekend and come back to only 1 crane left. #51! Is AML going out of business or do they have better ways to load the containers that go to Alaska!?

    Had heard rumors that because of concerns over drawbridges being able to open reliably for their passage to/from they were looking for space out of the Duwamish. However don’t know if that’s the reason for disappearing cranes.

    They were originally built for the Navy but failed inspection. For years, they (us, taxpayers) have been paying AML to store them there.
