Accounts Receivable Specialist – Full Time w/Benefits (SK Food Group)

SK Food Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at our corporate office in West Seattle.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager and as part of our AR team, the Accounts Receivable Specialist receives payments presented to the company and maintains the appropriate records and apply funds on receivables.

Essential Duties:

· Receive all payments presented to the company.

· Maintain the appropriate records and apply funds on receivables.

· Reconcile, research and resolve payments received from customers to invoiced differences.

· Ensure that all customer orders are invoiced accurately and in a timely manner.

· Respond to customers as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of accounts receivable experience. Associate’s Degree or one year certificate from a technical school is preferred.

· Experience using customer portals to research items is preferred.

· Grocery channels and related experience is preferred.

· Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

· Must be a team player with a customer service approach. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, managers, suppliers and customers.

· Computer proficiency required. Proficient with daily use of the Microsoft Office Suite; skill with Microsoft Word and Excel required.

· Experience with ERP systems required; Sage X3 is preferred.
