Just wanted to put the word out that I have reason to believe my card info was stolen Monday morning, 8/5, from a gas pump at the 7-11 on Avalon and 35th. I was lucky and my bank caught it, but beware. I would err on the side of caution and only use cash at that station.

I don’t care if the OP made a coherent statement and I am not interested the op’s political thoughts. What I am concerned with is the statement of “MOVING” somewhere else.

Agree or disagree with what the individual is saying, but stop suggesting anyone should go elsewhere to live. That is of course, unless you are looking in the mirror.

Maybe they don’t want the security issues that go along with cash? I don’t know but honestly, I don’t carry cash these days anyway so I probably wouldn’t care. It’s the businesses that don’t take cards that bug me, but those are fewer all the time.

If that’s the case, it’s a ridiculous policy. It would be helpful if the owner explained why.
Also, locusts are pretty gross, though the website explains why the owner chose name and the icky logo.
BUT, on the other hand, I will probably check this place out. I enjoy cider. And a portion of the proceeds from cans and bottles goes to the Hydrocelphalus Association. The owner’s 4-year-old daughter has this awful condition and has already undergone three brain surgeries.

Be aware that this business refuses to take cash.

When I complained to the people there I was told it was a decision made by the owner.

<Shrug> So I walked down the street to a different business and spent my cash there, they were quite happy to have it.

Just the facts … I’ll keep my opinions to myself.
