Good afternoon. I found your ad on the West Seattle Blog and know that I would be a good candidate for this part-time position. I have been a care giver for over 20 years to many seniors in the West Seattle area. I have developed a strong compassion and empathy for this population. I consider myself a fairly organized person and do not like the disorganization that clutter can have on those who are surrounded by it. I have helped a few of the seniors with organizing for a move and making sure that all is ready for moving day.
I am semi-retired and enjoy flexibility in my schedule. I consider myself to be upbeat, with a positive mindset. I am personable and can establish likeability with those I am with.
I would appreciate knowing more about your company and how I can best meet your needs.
    My email address is flo_boynton@hotmail.com
Thank you for your time and consideration.
    Sincerely,
    Flo Boynton

What does one have to do with the other? It’s not as if there were a choice between a day shelter and a dog park and the dog park won. A lot of people advocated for a dog park. I’m sure not nearly as many are advocating for day shelters, and quite possibly for good reason. Build it, and they will come. There aren’t many neighborhoods that want to actively add to the number of addicted and mentally ill people on the streets where they live. If you do, start a petition and lobby public officials as the dog group did. And be sure to let them know that you want it to be located next door to you.

Theres probably some obvious reason for them not doing this but… Why not have it be an underground station like they have on capital hill and parts of downtown. They didnt have to destroy westlake in order to run their train through there. If it wer far enough down there wouldnt even be much noise

Hello. I don’t know if you have found anyone to help with your 6 year old child for the summer.
If not, let me tell you a little about myself. I have done after school day care and summer care for Blazing Trails Child Care at Pathfinder School. I enjoyed being involved in the many activities we did together and learning opportunities that the children were involved in.
My daughter has been in need of child care for her son who is 2.5 years old. When he is unable to go to day care because of sickness, she knows that she can count on me to bring ideas that we can enjoy together.
I like variety and can navigate the bus system and even light rail with relative ease. I can help bring healthy snacks or we can make some at your place. I live in the Junction area so can easily get to your place on time and ready to go. I am easy going and very flexibility.
Please reach out to me if you would like any further information. My email is flo_boynton@hotmail.com
Thank you for your time and consideration.
    Sincerely,
    Flo Boynton

Well, it is with utmost disappointment that I realize that I have failed, miserably, in my quest to find a suitable, two-wheeled, electric wonder-chariot. And so, today, a day of rest, I journeyed north, into the barren void of Kirkland, in search of that most magical of creations, a good bike for a senior citizen! And there, sitting in an overly organized garage, sat what would become the latest entrant to my e-stable, the noble ‘Rad Rover’! Now to tweak and customize the little beastie and make it MINE!!!
    Y’all behave and play nice!

Is this just so that you don’t have to deal with “aggressive pan handlers” while walking around in the junction?

Please explain how a train to the Chelan Cafe and nowhere else would actually benefit anyone who actually needs transit.

I do like the idea of a park & ride though, if you provide your address I’ll make sure I suggest that area for the light rail that was voted in by the people..
