well, this may end up taking this thread down some other rabbit hole, but what about index funds? What little we have left in our beat up and bruised retirement plans, I’ve heard it may be wiser to transfer those funds into index funds. Why pay the middle man at these investment firms? Many of us don’t have the time and ability to watch and study the stock market, but I feel like we trust the Edward Jones of the world too much. If what some of you are saying, is that we’re gonna end up with the same amount of cash we put in, I might as well just stuff it under the mattress and buy a shotgun. I admit I have so much to study and understand but just thought I’d throw this out on the table to chew on…..
