Diane, a “sticky” is a term for a post that an administrator formats so that it is perpetually appearing before the other posts – usually it’s posts with rules/regulations and/or timely information that needs to be seen. If you click on the “Open Discussion” forum, you can see that this No Advertising thread (and another one) says “sticky” before it. You don’t see that if you just click on the Forum, but you see it if you open up the Open Discussion forum list.
