Sorry for the ongoing glitches.
Our catch-all advice in the short run is to clear your cache.
I don’t know why that works for most problems (like the movie “Big Fat Greek Wedding,” when the family’s advice for everything was Windex), but it does.
The only users “blocked” for anything are the spammers, once they surface and I therefore get their handles (we have tried to make it tougher for them to sign up in the first place but some – despite the gibberish user names – are actually LIVE PEOPLE CREATING SPAM ACCOUNTS and therefore not daunted by Captcha). Sorry, sorry, we are currently in a phase of where we have to determine how to separate two ongoing technical projects so one can be focused just on the forum software …
