I’m glad the topic resurfaced. Yesterday I watched the debate mentioned earlier in this thread and wanted to ask you something, westello.
In the debate you mentioned something about the difficulty for a school to revert from a charter to a non-charter, or the complicated process for a school to lose its charter if it’s not meeting standards.
I skimmed through the initiative text and found some opaque references to processes but nothing was very clear nor did it seem wholly contained in one specific clause of the initiative. Would you mind elaborating on how it might work?
(And yes I realize that to a degree I’m setting them up so you can knock them down :) but I’m genuinely curious.)
