I manage my meals as low expense as possible and nothing fancy. Just plain home-cooked food. It would be so nice for them to have a full dinner and I know they appreciate all meals and many repeatedly say so.
I do get a little help here and there along the way, no questions asked. Some in cash and some in foods to cook with. I don’t think it was wrong for him to ask for help and so glad he got it.
I have been homeless to the point of having to stay with a friend even though I was working, but thank heavens not on the streets. I didn’t know homeless people til I started going to Nickelsville last year for their Pig Roast celebrating their anniversary. I saw a need to do this. Didn’t stop me from wanting to help and will continue as long as I’m able Don’t know why someone has to specifically have a connection of some sort to want to help. I became acquainted with Mike there, and still am. There are so many caring people out there who follow this Forum about many things when someone says they need help with something. If they’re able they don’t hesitate to step up. Thank heavens their are caring people in our world.
