Heard similar explosion 2:30ish Sunday July 13. I was out of town week earlier so I missed the one you referred too. But weird it was the same time and day of week. Seemed like it came from Westwood Village. Really sounded and felt like something bigger than you could do with large fireworks, even with a garbage can or dumpster.
Also the goons that do that usually do several and it’s late but not that late when they set them off.
