Westside School is excited to share that Longleaf Wilderness Medicine will be offering both Wilderness First Aid (WFA) and Wilderness First Responder (WFR) courses on our campus this January—and they’re open to the public.

Wilderness First Aid (16-Hour Certification)
January 24–25, 2026
8:00 am–5:00 pm
Designed for recreationalists who want to be ready in case of an emergency.

Wilderness First Responder (Initial Certification — Hybrid)
Includes 35 hours of self-paced online learning
In-person dates: January 17–19 & 24–25, 2026
8:00 am–5:30 pm

The industry standard for anyone taking on a leadership role in remote settings—ideal for extended expeditions or medical professionals wanting to apply their skills outside a clinical environment.
