Community Batik Heart-Making Session

Alki UCC invites you to join local social justice activist and artist Denise Hendrickson to create dozens of specially-designed batik hearts and flags to show our love of and support for the people of Ukraine and other conflict zones We plan to make enough to adorn the Peace Pole in front of the church.

In lieu of a donation to cover expenses, participants are invited to support the Ukrainian Education Platform (https://www.ukredu.org), a charitable organization providing emergency shelter, psychological, and social and emotional support for internally displaced persons (IDPs), mostly women and children.
