The Senior Center of West Seattle’s Second Thursday OUT! group is partnering with Generations Aging with Pride to bring an LGBTQ Community Conversation Series to our Center. Our purpose is to gather with LGBTQ community members to share our voices and experiences. The theme for this evening of Community Conversations is Don’t Call Me a Senior: This conversation is about the difficulty many of us have in acknowledging our advancement into older adulthood. What are the emotions we have about accepting this reality? Why do we avoid it? What are some ways we can make this transition better?

Social hour begins at 6 pm. Dinner is 6:30, followed by discussion. Dinner is free and wine is available for $4.

Conversations are led by Kevin O’Brien. GenPRIDE can be reached at info@gapseattle.org for more information on social events, exercise classes, our training and presentations.
