Puget Soundkeeper will be hosting their annual Longfellow Creek Cleanup on Saturday, November 15th. This cleanup site is the epicenter for 6PPD research across the Puget Sound, including Puget Soundkeeper’s Salmon Pre-Spawn Mortality Survey, which has been conducted for 10+ years.

Salmon Surveyors will also be on the creek counting and dissecting Coho Salmon, providing participants an opportunity to learn more about the project and the challenges with salmon conservation.

Media, volunteers, and local leaders are invited to attend and take part in protecting our waters.

About the Event:

This event is free and open to individuals, families, schools, clubs, and local businesses. Volunteers will receive tools and supplies to safely collect trash and plastic debris.
