Hello, I’m an Adopt-A-Street volunteer for Seattle Public Utilities and I will be hosting a trash cleanup event on Saturday April 30th from 9 am to 11 am along Highland Park Way SW. This section of street can be busy since it’s a primary roadway into West Seattle; however, there is a sidewalk and plenty of greenspace on the south side of the street for safe and effective trash pick-up.

The city will provide us with gloves, safety vests, trash bags, trash grabbers and a sharps container if needed. It’s important to also wear appropriate shoes, tennis or hiking shoes.
