West Seattle poet Ari B. Cofer reads from her second collection unfold alongside fellow poet and collaborator Caitlin Conlon.

unfold is a poetic, aching, and hopeful retelling of realizations made while on the journey to healing from both loss of love and loss of self. Through poetry and short essays, unfold shows that true growth comes from being unafraid to face what’s hidden inside, to be vulnerable, and to be unashamed of what we find when we finally open up.

Ari B. Cofer, author of paper girl and the knives that made her, has curated an engaged audience on social media and has been widely featured. While she enjoys love poems, she hopes to continue her mental-health advocacy by writing on topics like depression, trauma, and recovery.

Caitlin Conlon is a poet and avid reader based out of Upstate New York. She is a graduate of the University at Buffalo, where she graduated magna cum laude with a BA in English and Creative Writing Certificate. While there, she was the recipient of the “Friends of the University Libraries Undergraduate Poetry Prize” and the “Arthur Axlerod Memorial Prize” for Poetry.
