As some of you know our best friend and head chef Ian Welch lost his son suddenly just a few short weeks ago. Aydin Welch was a staple here at Arthur’s and his kind and big presence is sorely missed around the restaurant, but most importantly with his father, mother Angela, and grandmother Mary.

We at Arthur’s will be hosting a benefit for the family to help with Aydin’s service as well as any needs Ian and Angela find moving forward during this horrifically difficult time. On November 30th Arthur’s will be hosting a night for Aydin —join us for a raffle and silent auction with Seahawks tickets, great packages for gifting for the season, wines, etc. so we can achieve our goal of $1500 raised for the family.

Alternatively, if you’d like to just donate directly, Arthur’s will be accepting cash and check donations anytime leading up to the event.

Finally, in addition to all cash raised Arthur’s will be donating a check to Ian’s family matching the total sales for the day.
