Georgetown Carnival is almost here! Come out to this free, family-friendly fun event for bands, art, vendors, food & drinks, carnival games, and all kinds of quirky fun. We’ll have a variety of local bands on two stages including Bow & Yarrow, FootOx, Appaloosa, Anger Management, Eagles Aerie Letter Carriers Band, Seattle Drum School, HONK!, Hutchie, and Emi Pop. SANCA’s students will perform and Sirens of Serpentine will show off their dancing skills. Participate in the cakewalk, make some spin art or a fun craft at our Maker Space, or try your luck and win a prize playing our classic school-carnival games. Do some shopping in our vendor village with all kinds of artists and makers, pop into one of our many bars or restaurants, have a drink at our beer garden, or try a new food truck! We’ll also have Georgetown Super 8 Film Screenings; the Art Chopped live art contest created by the Georgetown Association of Arts and Culture; interactive activities with Georgetown Steam Plant, Watershed Community Development, and Equinox Art Studios; and last but not least, the first Inflatable Costume Race! Put on your party pants (or wear a costume or a fancy hat) and spend the day in weird and wonderful Georgetown. We can’t wait!
