The Alki Elementary PTA cordially invites you to attend the upcoming Alki Elementary Art Showcase. This event, fully sponsored by the PTA, will provide a variety of ways to observe how Alki Elementary students are moved by music. The event will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, May 3 at Alki Elementary School. The Alki PTA makes the Arts a priority for our students through programs such as Master Artists which focuses on a different master artist each month.

From 6-7 pm, our Spanish and music teacher Señor Grunewald will lead each grade, one at a time, in a 7-8 minute performance. Also during this time frame families can move about the halls during the Gallery Walk portion of the event to see all the wonderful art that has been created by our students during the school year.

From 7-8 pm, students will perform with the Whistlestop Dance Company. This is our second year working with Whistlestop, who charmed our families last year.
