Can you spare a minute to help a student research project?

You can do this right here, right now: Take a moment to help five Holy Rosary School students with a research project. In connection with a project for the First Lego League, Brian Christenson explains, the students want to test a hypothesis about how people learn about new technology. To do that – they need you to answer this quick online survey. They thank you in advance. (We’ll check back to see how their project goes.)

Being in the technology world I love that you are asking these questions art an early age. Many try to solve the problem without knowing the problem. Great job lads.

Glad to help the kids. I love Lego-Mindstorm and First US Robotics as my Son was involved in Robotics in school. Technology is such an integral part of all of this. Learning to think outside the box and in a rational and open minded manner will take them far. Learning to work with each other and with other groups is also a great benefit of these programs. Great job Fella’s! Looking forward to the follow up.

Hope you consider offering an affordable service to some of us older folks who don’t know what we don’t know. Many times we end up depending upon either relatives or random younger people to teach us this stuff. It’d be okay if you were amazed at our lack of knowledge/understanding. Potentially an excellent learning opportunity, community service and possible income generator.

Done. Thanks guys and good luck. I’m so happy someone is finally asking these questions. Ditto what Hoku said.

I think my 55 year old Russian mother would learn better from a 55 year old Russian woman. I feel like although we speak the same language, we have different conversations.
Though to be fair, I’m still not entirely sure how to turn on her TV. There’s, like, three remotes that each have an ‘on’ and a ‘power’ button. Try figuring that out a minute before kickoff.
