Seattle’s biggest tribute to the Seahawks and their fans – visible across Elliott Bay, on the JPMorganChase Center downtown – is not simply because the preseason is about to kick off, but also, our tipster tells us, for the HBO series “Hard Knocks,” which has been chronicling the NFL champions’ training camp.

LOVE this, go Seahawks!! Have to mention the 12th man sign is not JPMC inspired, hope they keep the tradition alive. WAMU was the original builder/owner/pioneer in 2006 right before Super Bowl XL. Thank you Russell Investments for taking the baton over all these years!! JPMC gutted 90% of Seattle (3400+) back office workers 60 days after the WAMU acquisition because there ‘will never be plans for a Seattle presence’. After all those years, Wamulians have long since recovered but will never forget how horribly JPMC treated everyone the day they walked in the building and scoffed at ‘small town Seattle’, stating there was no talent pool here and then everyone ran circles around them. Now they’re back to ‘tap into the talent pool’ that’s always been here. In these austere employment times, I hope none of our former colleagues have to take a job as they ‘grow their banking and tech hub’.
