A great deal many police descended upon 38th and Juneau at about 7 p.m. last night — I’m seeing a police report for a DUI (2025-341123) but with the number of police responding (I counted 7 cars) I wondered if there was something bigger going on!

Nobody texted us – there’s relatively little info on police radio these days so we really rely on tips. Will check into it.

SDOT and WADOT are both on Bluesky as well.https://bsky.app/profile/seattledot.bsky.social Would be helpful to include links there for us ex-X users.

Thank you. They’re also on myriad other social media channels. The X pages are visible even if you’re not a member, not always the case with other services, and kind of legacy from the days when it was still Twitter and we used it extensively – now there are potential ethical reasons to object to almost everything (which is why we pretty much only post on the open web, which is endangered these days) … TR

Twitter/X won’t let me see content without logging in.  I think that change was made a while ago.

I just tried from a browser in which I’m definitely not logged in. SDOT’s posts were visible (/sdottraffic, /sdotbridges, /seattledot). (And on the right side it invited me to sign up, but did not require it to see the tweets/whatevers.)

Sorry, comment time is over.
