(Added: Photo from commenter Brian)

10:56 PM: Police are searching near just southwest of Morgan Junction [map] for a driver who’s reported to have bolted after hitting a parked car and possibly a utility pole. He’s described as a “tall white male, 40s, in a white shirt, no shoes” possibly headed westbound on Holly.

11:02 PM: They found the suspect.

Fauntleroy needs speed bumps. From Alaska to Morgan Junction. People fly on the road, some drunk. Try crossing on foot. It’s nerve wracking.

It is a very dangerous road. My kids are forbidden from crossing it on foot after tennis lessons. Trying to park and go to Lincoln Park or even trying to park for soccer at Fairmont is like playing Frogger. And then with kids walking across to the fields at Fairmont – I just saw someone trying to parallel park today and cars screamed by passing the left side. Insanity

Speed bumps and narrower lanes. Driver’s won’t slow down to keep pedestrians (and themselves) safe, but somehow they manage it if they’re worried about scratching the paint job.
