Police and fire are at the scene of a crash at Orchard and Dumar. A texter tells us a pedestrian signal is knocked over and a car is on the sidewalk. Police say a suspected DUI driver is involved. No word of injuries.
I hope that the driver is made to pay for all the damages they caused. Drivers driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs need to be made accountable, spend time behind bars and made to carry at least $1,000,000 car insurance liability coverage. This bad behavior needs to be stopped!
Is this connected to the arrest made on California/Walker last night? There were 6 police cars who surrounded a vehicle.
