Some cities are using drones.  Eventually Seattle may need to evaluate.  Some how some way this needs to stop.

It’s called gun Control and something this country needs to do. But too many people “but my rights”. Frankly I am tired of that.

Every other peer country of ours has solved this problem. None of them needed to resort to constant mass surveillance. Geez.

This is what worries me, hard times n high rent n living costs can lead to massive amount of thefts robbery n mayhem.  During Gr8 Depression of 1930s, crime terrible.  Homelessness, very high cost of living plus  drug use problem we have can breed chaos n terrible crime.  Been in seattle 50 years n never ever saw this much crime.  We get breakins monthly n our cars are not safe…  I’m thinking might get worse.  I lived in Chicago n crime was real bad but people knew how to harden security n secure their cars n homes.  No one could just walk up to their door to break in n security bars were a must, fences n dogs were common n neighbors helped keep each other safe n they could spot armed robbers  b4 they got close enuf to attack.

The situation is interesting. A lot of people own homes here, even me. You don’t want to sell because interest rates and housing is nuts. But your worried about crime. Most of the crime in Seattle is theft and gangs shootings. I wouldnt be surprised if the same gangs are behind all the theft. The cops can’t do a lot because they are short staffed and most cops don’t want to work in Seattle because their hands are tide. The criminals know this. More cops might help but they can’t stop crime from happening. Maybe we need to take more of that cop money and investin low income programs and helping youth so they have a future other then struggling to move up in the world. Not everyone is fortunate to have money and a good life. Help might be the only solution.

Noble yet just how are we going to control stolen guns in the possession of criminals.  With 300 million guns in the US I think that we are past that point.  Maybe more control on new gun sales though.  I think catching these guys by any means available is more prudent.

Sorry, comment time is over.
