86-year-old Jim Price of Pigeon Point is still missing, for a fifth day. Again this afternoon (Saturday, September 23) volunteer searchers will fan out to look for him. If you can help, please meet up at Delridge Community Center (4501 Delridge Way SW; map) at 2 pm. His family says, “Please come. We cannot express the appreciation enough.”
The poster image above has the location where he was last seen. He might have been setting out to walk to the Senior Center in The Junction, per the original announcement. But he also was known to use public transit, so he could be anywhere, even outside West Seattle.
Is the family posting the flyer at area businesses, bus shelters, etc. I can’t help today but hopefully there will be lots of people to help.

I’ve seen them all over the junction, and Uptown itself has two flyers next to the register. I think they’ve been pretty successful at getting the word out so we’re all aware and paying attention.
Sharon, not sure if you’re reading the comment section, but sometimes it takes 24-48 hours for transactions to show on the Orca site. Hoping you have a way to check again.
I’ve been checking mine since I had to register on the new site and they’re showing up immediately if I swipe at a kiosk, don’t know about if on an actual bus. Either way, if not done already please contact King County Metro, if he frequents a stop then that narrows down which routes he might have taken.
Get these notices posted at all the bus bases in the break rooms where the Operators are and the front desks so folks see this when they start their shifts.

My husband and I walked all over Camp Long this morning, looking in dense areas. Sending love to Sharon and those who love him.
We walked through Lincoln Park today and we’re keeping and eye out for him. We will continue to do that. We will search through Schmitz Park as soon as possible. Praying for his safe return.

I’ve been wondering if he might have been taken in by someone living in an RV somewhere. It wouldn’t surprise me if some kind soul offered him shelter.
I’ve been trying to find out who to contact to get assistance reaching out at encampments, but haven’t been able to find any resources.
We just combed all thru Roxhill Park. Was thinking if he’d jumped on the C he may have entered the trail for shelter near Westwood, but no luck.
