Another West Seattle change for Metro’s ‘service change’ Saturday

4:18 PM: When Metro announced the plan for its next twice-yearly “service change” this Saturday (March 19th), the plan was for Saturday service on Route 125 to remain suspended. But Metro has just announced that instead, the 125 will resume Saturday service.

ADDED THURSDAY EVENING: We asked Metro why the last-minute change of heart, and spokesperson Jeff Switzer explained they’re still “fine-tuning” the service-change plan and won’t have final word until tomorrow afternoon.

Any word on the 116, 118, or, 119?

Some other adjustments to the service-change plan are due out before week’s end, Metro told me when I asked about the reason for the change of heart on this, but I don’t know if those are among them.

Glad the 125 will he back on Saturdays!  Thank you! Our 125 route always feels so vulnerable to random change.

Any idea when the new rapid line is going to start? I saw the bus stops are starting to get glass on delridge. I prefer the 125 because less creepy people on board but the convenience of a RL is definately there.

The date has long been set as September of this year. Some of that construction has been held up by the concrete dispute too, though (which is why the Constantine/Harrell briefing last month was in White Center) and I have not asked lately if the scheduled opening is jeopardized.
