Carmilia’s, the boutique at 4528 California SW, is celebrating its 19th anniversary all weekend. Tomorrow, you get a gift with your purchase, and a 20 percent discount (excluding jewelry and Kai). Sunday, “a different gift with purchase.” Then on Monday, the actual anniversary, a chance to spin the wheel and win a discount up to 50 percent. Proprietor Linda Sabee founded the shop in 2002 with no retail experience – as she told us when celebrating anniversary #15, she used to be a kindergarten teacher – and has kept the doors open through ups and downs, pandemic and all, so it’s definitely party time.
