3:20 PM: Transient killer whales are southbound on the northwest edge of Elliott Bay, reports Kersti Muul. Some of the orcas are toward the east side of the channel. Let us know if you see them!

Just watched a bull going in circles, middle of Elliot Bay, 1/2 mile north west of 1500 Alki Ave.
This is the male T137A who did the epic pass at Lowman last august 28 with his sister, right next to the paddle boards. He did the same thing tonight at Alki
Accidentally freaked out some folks in a car who were poised with cameras pointed down my street searching for the whales! Sorry for getting in your shot!
Here’s the close pass at Constellation around 6:15pm, lucky paddleboarders. So cool to know that was the same whale from Lowman last year. Thanks for that info Kersti.
