I was on a bus once (L.A. not Seattle) where a rear tire blew and sprayed rubber all over the exhaust manifold which promptly started to smoke like it was trying to lay down cover for an infantry assault. But no flames.Between the “bang” and the dense black smoke, you’d think a bomb had gone off. Had it been these “modern times” I suspect people would have assumed it *was* a “terror” attack and reacted accordingly. (I.E. like headless chickens only less organized.)
Sorry, comment time is over.
