This happened outside of my apartment complex. I was in bed when I heard what sounded like and explosionand rushed out, I had a feeling it was a bad accident.  One of drivers was in shock and very concerned about the well being of everyone else. Ridiculous how many people flooded the scene but stood there without moving a damn finger. Stay inside be useless from the comfort of your home.

I am the neighbor of the 3 damaged cars. I’m glad everyone is okay.

It’s four damaged cars. Van, Black car parked GMC and Beige car next to the Black one.

@jUNG, Some people do nothing but look because of the fear of liability, what if they were to move an injured person and do more harm than good, example paralyze them. So don’t lay blame of uselessness this is why we have professionals, FD, EMT’s…

I think the point is that if you can’t contribute and you weren’t part of the incident, then don’t stand around and rubberneck. Having more people at the scene of an accident just creates more confusion and hassle for the first responders.

It’s the same people that slow down traffic down to see what all the commotion is about. Move along.

Jung, you said you heard it and rushed outside to help or to be one of those people as you stated that slow down  to see what all the commotion is about ? So it’s OK for you to be there but no one else?

FWIW my co-publisher, who has been to hundreds of breaking news scenes over the years, remarked unsolicited that there were a lot of spectators at this one. As long as you steer way clear of the emergency crews – both for safety and operational reasons – that’s just the way things go.

That is a hard hit to pop the wheel off like that.  Notice the coil spring.

I wonder what kind of car loses its strut system like that? Hyundai maybe? Dodge? Is that a Tesla sitting there? Wheel is mangled but still on. That area seems to have a lot of hits lately.  Hope everyone is ok. Shaken up I’m sure.
