Looking for a preschool? Openings @ Hiawatha Community Center

West Seattle’s city-run community centers are home to many more programs than you might realize – including preschools! One of them, Bright Beginnings at Hiawatha Community Center in the Admiral District, is still accepting students for the coming school year – read on for the announcement:

Bright Beginnings Preschool Program located at Hiawatha Community Center is dedicated to providing a quality early learning education, for all the children enrolled in our program. We strive to offer a program that helps child learn and grow, by focusing on the child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills.

We provide a safe, happy healthy, learning environment for preschool children. Bright Beginnings Preschool is very hands on, an activities include: Art, Blocks, Dramatic Play, Library, Cooking, Science, Music and Movement and Outdoor/Gym Play.

    Heard nothing but good things about this school. I met the main teacher and I can see why. The teacher actually came to watch a couple of the students play tee-ball during off hours. How many teachers will do that?
