West Seattle Crime Watch: Beware the siphoners

Starting to get a resurgence of gas-siphoning reports – here’s one out of the inbox tonight from Andre:

Gas was stolen from our car using the drain plug on the bottom of our gas tank. Our car was parked on the street on 20th Ave SW between Cambridge and Barton.

Remember that if you see suspicious activity happening NOW, potentially a crime, don’t hesitate to call 911.

Man, I’m getting sick of these waste of space people. This example could be used as a metaphor for these people syphoning off of society in general. This sense of entitlement to the point where a person justifies stealing from others in their warped little minds is ridiculous. And the worst part is that people with this kind of mentality seem to be the most fertile. Stupid just continually breeding stupid and passing on those “values”. I vote yes on sterilization, otherwise Idiocracy here we come!

So was it siphoned or drained? One method could be prevented with a locking gas-cap, the other with a hardened-steel reinforced gas tank

Please, someone retell the 70’s-80’s story of siphoning the holding tank. I loved that!

It was drained from the bottom of the tank.

Sorry, comment time is over.
