The Dumar/Orchard closure continues today; that’s it for scheduled road work requiring detours. Looking ahead to the weekend again, the northbound I-5 exit to West Seattle Bridge will be closed Friday night-Monday morning; the Alki Beach 5K route on Alki Avenue will be closed Sunday morning.
The links to WSDOT are great — thanks. They now show photos of the portion of the bridge/on /off ramps that are damaged so you can see what it is they are having to repair. Very helpful :)
Just an fyi, when heading to the water taxi at 4 this afternoon they had the streets around the federal building blocked off on what looked like a suspicious vehicle parked out front. Traffic was snarled in every direction…
