Seattle Parks has announced that the tennis courts at Solstice Park and Hiawatha Playfield will close later this month for improvements. The Solstice Park work/closure is set for August 19-30; at Hiawatha, it’s August 30-Sept. 7. Details are on the city’s Parkways site.
I hope the improvements are to add fences between courts. I like to bring my child to play tennis and the ball does not always go right direction. Ha.
Fixing the tennis courts… For the winter. Such mysteries in this city.
You would think they would fix them in the fall or winter….. Not during summer when they get used the most…
