From partner site White Center Now: After talking about it at literally every meeting for the past few months, the Burien City Council has finally taken a vote on whether to proceed with potential annexation of White Center, Boulevard Park, and most of the rest of what it didn’t vote to annex two years ago – and that vote was “yes.” The annexation process still has a long way to go, though; if it does go all the way, instead of Roxbury being the city/county border (in most spots), it would be the Seattle/Burien border.
