New hours this year for West Seattle’s Kitty Harbor

All together now … “awwwww.” (Or, write your own LOLcat caption.) The photo is courtesy of Kitty Harbor, which opens for the season this Saturday (June 4th) at its 3422 Harbor Avenue SW location (just north of the West Seattle Bridge). On behalf of Kitty Harbor, Anna sends word of new hours this year – noon-6 pm Saturdays, 2-6 pm Sundays – and says more than 60 kitties are already awaiting their forever homes. (See more of them here.)

I got my cat Abernathy at Kitty Harbor three years ago, she was a rescued farm kitten from Eastern Washington. She was terrified and cross-eyed and ridiculous looking. And I love her so! I love Kitty Harbor for giving me my little beast!

If your cat likes to go outside just remember the West Seattle coyotes that we are suppose to coexist with. Many people have reported their cats missing since all the coyotes started showing up the last couple of years. Cats or coyotes? Get ride of the coyotes. There were no reports of cats being killed by coyotes 10 years ago. Get rid of the coyotes and protect your pets and small children.

Leave the coyotes alone and keep your cats inside, where they should be!!
