Just out of the WSB inbox, two reports, one that’s definitely a crime, the other, might or might not be:
First, Christina is hoping you can help find her car:
1994 Teal Acura Vigor
Stolen from Roxbury and 36th. Last night, April 28th in the middle of the night.
REWARDSome lowlife stole my 1994 teal Acura Vigor. These are rare cars. Mine has a busted driver-side signal light. The glass is broken. I love this car so if anyone sees it around you can e-mail an account I set up just for this. Stolenacura@hotmail.com
Thanks for keeping a lookout and I wish you the best living in this crime-ridden area. I am not getting scammed out of the reward so don’t even try. It is for somebody who takes the time to report they found the car and that report leads to me getting the car back. Thanks and Peace
(Regarding “crime-ridden,” you can browse the city map of “incident responses” – with at least several hours lag – and get the latest on who’s getting hit the hardest.)
Meantime: We usually point lost/found reports (aside from pets) to the WSB Forums, but this one is so unusual, we’re publishing it here on the news page:
While walking to my bus stop this morning, I found a below-the-knee prosthetic leg in a dirt parking area across from an apartment complex on Murray Ave, just off of Lincoln Park Way.
The prosthetic was mostly black, with reflective metal trim and ankle.
I reported this to police, but I do not know if they were able to recover the appendage.
