Fire call at Providence Mount St. Vincent

Just in case you saw the fire response to The Mount within the past hour, or the “4 RED” call on the live 911 log – Christopher Boffoli checked it out; firefighters told him it was a small fire in an elevator exhaust-fan motor. No injuries but some smoke, so that’s why – as shown in Christopher’s photo – they had to bring in fans to clear the air.

Very glad to know that everything turned out to be okay there! The Mount is a very well run residence and the staff is well trained for situations such as this. Kudo’s to the Seattle Fire Dept. for doing their job so well for West Seattle!!

We are always grateful for the quick and professional response we receive from the Seattle Fire Department. In a facility such as our, safety is a primary concern, and it’s reassuring to know that help is just a phone call away.
