Sunday’s the day – Northwest Hope and Healing (WSB sponsor) moves its 5K run/walk to Alki this year (photo’s from Lincoln Park last year), to raise $ to help local women fighting breast cancer (register here!). SATURDAY MORNING-AFTERNOON: Up to 200 volunteers will visit 7,800 households in the White Center area in a national day of service for Green Jobs and Clean Energy, led by the Moontown Foundation and local partners including South Seattle Community College and White Center Community Development Association, volunteers are still needed (sign up online here), all-day event
