Marie – What the heck are you thinking? Do you have no heart at all?? People read this blog – including friends and family. Your comment is incredibly insensitive, not in the PC sense of the word, but in the sheer, human sense of the word. You should be ashamed. I don’t even know anyone involved in this, but your callousness still disgusts me.

Marie, I’ll hope that if you ever went missing that people would not automatically assume that about you. I also hope that someday you find yourself some compassion and a heart.

To those of you who are kindhearted and don’t want to sit around and do nothing, please go to etsy.com and search the public forums. There are a ton of threads in that community that are in place to help and support Christine and her family in this time of crisis that her family is going through. Thank You.

    Two things about Nicholas:

    1) Nicholas is a warm and compassionate man. I know many truly good people that are friends of his and some previous coworkers at Publicis who all know Nicholas as a sensitive and sweet man who was not troubled by the pressures of life and who would not walk out on his family by any stretch.

While sometimes human, any comments speculating differently boils down to shallow chatter and even more shallow hypothesizing. These are natural thoughts when you hear something in the media that you’re not connected to personally, but please think before you speculate publicly. If this were your son/husband/friend you’d be hurt unnecessarily.

    2) Hope is a powerful thing. Whether you’re on this blog talking about a special landmark that’s about to be gobbled up by developers or a precious life that’s inexplicably gone missing, the heart of what moves people forward to action and often times to miracles, is hope. Keep this alive by being positive and looking for solutions. I’ve seen incredible things happen when hope is alive in a community and I expect no less when it comes to Nicholas.

I saw your story this AM on FOX News while Nicholas’ mom was interviewed. I pray God’s perfect peace floods your hearts as you walk through this horribly painful season. God is faithful and I pray He will comfort all of you and that He will bring Nicholas home quickly. Psalm 46:1 reminds us that “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.” I will continue praying that God is indeed your refuge and strength.

Sorry, comment time is over.
