We haven’t updated WS gas prices for a while; the price situation has stayed relatively stable. Arco on Delridge by Home Depot retains the title of WS Gas Station With The Lowest Posted Price, $2.87 as of early this afternoon (photo left); more than half a dozen other stations are in the $2.90s. This all puts us way below the state that now has the highest prices in the nation (Nebraska!), and even below the national average.
Unless I’ve become utterly dyslexic, I could swear the Arco at 85th and Aurora is selling Unleaded gas for $2.79.
That is great, but 85th and Aurora is a little too far to count in the West Seattle Gas Price Watch.
The downside to buying Arco gas for me is this. I rarely have cash in my pocket.. and surely not $40 to fill the tank. When you use your debit card at the pump you get charged a surcharge of 45 cents which hikes up the per gallon charge. Small change? Yes, but it adds up.
