I wonder where in West Seattle that is. I’m sure my 3-bedroom, 2000 square foot house would’ve cost three times as much if it were far enough west for a Sound view.
This house is in highpoint behind the new community resource center (food bank). There is no view of the sound or city. However, ever since they demolished the old highpoint housing developement, surrounding property values have gone up rapidly. Also, this block has several houses that have built condos in their back yards. I would imagine developers would be interested. They’re leaving the existing house in place and adding 3 condo’s behind. The house sells in the 400’s, condos in the 300’s. The block behind Walgreens is doing this too. I’m all for density, but I have to admit, me and my neighbors are hoping it doesn’t spread to our block.
Sorry, comment time is over.
