Rhonda had been blogging about her business for a while (linked from our Other WS Blogs page), then wrote about 3 weeks ago to tell us she’d started up a Beach Drive blog. We’ve been watching daily and think BDB is definitely worth sharing, especially this post about Bob the Beach Drive seal. Keep up the good work, Rhonda!
thanks for sharing. I did not realize that the Alki Homestead was going full force again, and I found out about their Monday evening Family specials on BDB. You’ll always be #1 with me, but it’s nice to see the neighborhood blogs, too….
I checked it out, and it looks promising though I think that since you are so prompt and thorough reporting what is important and interesting, it will be a challenge for her to compete by finding interesting things you haven’t already told us or provided links to. I see that site as perhaps a secondary point of view, WSB will continue to be my favorite.
Wow! I’m so honored to have Beach Drive Blog receive recognition from THE West Seattle Blog. Our blogs are both very different. BDB, still in infant in bloggosphere, is intended to be more of the Beach Drive neighborhood and West Seattle Blog is definitely on the spot for all that is happening in West Seattle. If I were to just copy or chase what West Seattle Blog does, it would be worthless and would deservedly dry up and wither away.
It is indeed a challenge to keep serving up information that will retain readers…and I am recruiting fellow neighbors to write for BDB as well. I can’t do it all (I have 3 other blogs I’m currently writing for)!
This truly makes my weekend and I thank you VERY much. I will always be a West Seattle Blog reader. My best to you.
