We’ll never know

Catching up on a loose end: someone e-mailed us to point out that the current edition of The Stranger has a rapturous review of Talarico’s. Have they found their stride after 6 months? We’ll have to live vicariously through your reviews, as we pretty much never go out with an adults-only dining party.

I’ve gone twice in the past few weeks and each time has been awesome… such a departure from the previous tenants!

I love Talarico’s Pizza. No need kids there. Plenty of other places kids can eat at with their parents. Just one complaint, drink prices are outrageous for West Seattle. You’d think you were drinking in a downtown five star hotel when you got your bill afterwards.

I live in West Seattle and I think Talarico’s makes good Pizza’s but I am with you Art that drink prices for mixed drinks are nuts for West Seattle. I think a Jim Beam Coke sells for something like $6 and not even served in a bucket. Its like drinking in a downtown high priced bar. You have to go in their hammered already or else it will cost you and arm and a leg to get some kind of buzz going. Its in the old New Luck Toy spot which made nice stiff one’s before but it seems like more bars are watering your drinks down nowdays which sucks.

Sorry, comment time is over.
