Went to Target this morning, and anyone that knows me knows that with my chronic health issues, and no vehicle, it’s not an easy task, (although I am fortunate to be able to actually do this).
They were having company-wide issues with their P.O.S. system, apparently mostly affecting credit/debit. Machines were running slow, and I was one of the lucky ones that it would not let the transaction process at all.
After trying what they could, the lady behind me in line paid for my nearly $30.00 worth of stuff, with cash. When I asked if she would share her contact advice, so that I could pay her back, she declined and just said “Pay it Forward”. So I will! :-)
Huge thanks to her, and Good Thoughts to Target staff (and customers, of course) that this issue is soon resolved. having worked retail myself, I am very familiar with the frustration on both sides!
