West Seattle Entomologist Jen Paur of Tiny Science will be presenting a series of four lectures, Mondays from 11 am to 12 pm at the Senior Center of West Seattle. Jen is an enthusiastic speaker who has engaged audiences of all ages when talking about her passion-Insects!

May 14- Insects in General: The history of insects and what features allowed them to become masters of the planet

May 21- The Orders of Insects: Did you know that there are 32 different types of insects? Some we are aware of, many we are not!

June 4- Comparative Study of Insects: How one type of animal with three body parts, six legs, & four wings can take on so many shapes & roles.

June 11- Insect Niches: How insects exploit diverse niches, including topics like parasitoidy and eusociality-both of which are more fascinating than they sound.
