April Pools Day Saturday, April 16, 2016, 10:30 am – 12 pm. This is a free family water-safety event. Prepare for Summer – practice family water safety with our aquatics staff.
We all know that wearing life jackets, learning about hypothermia, and learning CPR save lives. Seattle Parks and Recreation will join many other public and private swimming facilities throughout Washington to celebrate the Annual April Pools Day on Saturday, April 16, 2016.
Participants of all ages will have the opportunity to learn hands-on water safety techniques, both in and out of the water. Learn about safe swimming and boating, practice simple rescues, participate in a hypothermia experience and life jacket use. Prizes will be raffled and a free swim time included.
Don’t miss this chance to get ready for fishing and boating season by participating in April Pools Day at your local Seattle Parks and Recreation swimming pool. Learn and have fun together as a family!
